Now you too can have that killer racing look with printable white gauge faces.  I drew these up using DeltaCAD, which is a free CAD program that even beginners can grasp easily.  They are very accurate and when cut out properly will fit right over your existing gauges.  I have drawn up the tach, speedo and temp-fuel gauges.  If you don't like the style, you can alter the fonts, colors, and everything else, while maintaining the same template so it still fits.

The .gif file will not print out the right size but let's you see exactly what the face looks like.  I tried to stay true to the original, but I added a few more divisions per unit because I think it looks better.   The CAD file will print out with much more detail than the .gif will.  So don't try and just print the .gif file!   Use the CAD software.

I used a semi-gloss heavy weight photo paper and high quality color ink-jet printer to print these out.  Set the scale to 1.0.  They look absolutely awesome.  I spent over 10 hours on all three.  The detail in them is extremely professional and the fit is near perfect (basically as good as you can cut them out).  I am very happy with the results.  I swear I get about 1-2 more hp now.  ;-)  You have to take out the rear bulbs for each gauge because at night it looks kind of lame with the old numbers showing through.  Or you can use thicker photo paper, or double it up over the brighter parts, or use your own brain to figure to something out.

You may need the Continuum Bold Font.  Download it here and put it in your C:\Windows\Fonts folder.

Response to someone's e-mail:

The templates will slide over the needles. After all it is only paper, it will bend/fold to accommodate slipping over the needles. DO NOT remove the needles. You will break your cluster.  Indiglos slip over the needles as well. So you should leave the original plastic faces as they are. I actually put a blank piece of photo paper behind the printed piece to further reduce light from the rear showing through, and then I left only the center bulb, which lights the odometers.

I then took one of the bulbs from the rear, and soldered it to the center-top circuit board piece that houses the two upper lights which you leave in. This makes the cluster shine from just the top with plenty of light.
